Don Archibald
Chairman

Mr. Archibald has been an independent businessman since March 2008. Mr. Archibald is also a director of Progress Energy Resources Corp., Ember Resources Inc., Chinook Energy Inc., all of which are public oil and gas companies as well as Sea NG, a private company. Prior thereto Mr. Archibald was the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Cyries Energy Inc., a public oil and gas company, from June 2004 until March 2008; prior thereto Mr. Archibald was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Cequel Energy Inc. from January 2002 to June 2004 prior thereto Mr. Archibald was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Cypress Energy Inc. from April 1996 to March 2001.

Peter Bannister

Peter Bannister is the President of Destiny Energy Inc., a privately-owned oil and gas company. Mr. Bannister is also currently Chairman of the Board of Crescent Point Energy Corp.; a Director of Cequence Energy Ltd. and Surge Energy Inc. Until its sale in February 2007, Mr. Bannister was Vice President Exploration and a Director of Mission Oil and Gas Inc. Until its sale in December 2009, Mr. Bannister was a Director of Breaker Energy Ltd. Prior to joining Mission Oil and Gas, he was Vice President Exploration of StarPoint Energy Inc. before its conversion to a royalty trust and President and a director of Impact Energy Inc. Mr. Bannister previously held the position of Vice President Corporate Development of Startech Energy until it was acquired by ARC Resources at the end of 2000 and also held positions as Vice President Exploration and Development and Director of both Boomerang Resources Ltd. and Laurasia Resources Limited, both publicly traded oil and gas companies. Mr. Bannister’s experience prior to his involvement in public oil and gas companies was as a partner of Sproule Associates Limited, a worldwide petroleum consulting firm specializing in the evaluation of oil and gas properties where he spent 12 years specializing in oil and gas property evaluations and managing private equity investments in the oil and gas business in Western Canada.

Paul Colborne

Paul Colborne is currently the President of StarValley Oil and Gas Ltd., a private, Calgary-based oil and gas company since November 2005. Mr. Colborne is also the Chairman of Legacy oil & Gas Inc., a 8,650 boepd publicly traded oil and gas company. He serves on the Board of Directors of Crescent Point Energy Corp., Cequence Energy Ltd., Wild Stream Exploration & as of April 12th, 2010 serves as Chairman for Surge Energy Inc.. Until its sale in July of 2009, Mr. Colborne did serve as Chairman of TriStar Oil & Gas Ltd.; Mr. Colborne was a Director for Westfire Energy Ltd., Twin Butte Energy Ltd., and Chairman of Seaview Energy Ltd. Until its sale in December of 2009, he also served as a director with Breaker Energy. From September 2003 to January 2005, Mr. Colborne was the President and CEO of StarPoint Energy Ltd. until its reorganization into StarPoint Energy Trust, a 36,000 boepd publicly traded energy trust. Prior thereto, Mr. Colborne was the President and CEO of Crescent Point Energy Ltd. until its reorganization into Crescent Point Energy Trust in September of 2003. From 1993 to 2001, Mr. Colborne was the President and CEO of Startech Energy Ltd., an intermediate oil and gas exploration and production company. Under Mr. Colborne’s leadership, Startech grew to 16,000 boe/d from its startup production rate of 120 boe/d. Listed on the TSX 300 sub-index as one of Canada’s larger public oil and gas companies, Startech was acquired by ARC Energy Trust in February of 2001. Mr. Colborne’s previous career included positions as a corporate finance and oil and gas lawyer with Wascana Energy Inc. and Husky Oil Ltd., and an associate with the legal firm Parlee McLaws.

Robert C. Cook

Mr. Cook has been a Senior Vice President, Exploration and Production Group of ARC Financial Corporation since March 2000. Currently, Mr. Cook is also a member of the board of directors of Milestone Exploration Inc. and Chinook Energy Inc.

Howard Crone

Subsequent to the business combination with Temple Energy Inc., Mr. Crone is the Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer and Director of Cequence. Previously, Mr. Crone was President & Chief Executive Officer of Cequence since May 2009. Prior thereto Mr. Crone was an independent businessman from July 2004 to May 2009; prior thereto Mr. Crone was the Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer of Cequel Energy Inc., a public oil and gas company, from August 2003 to June 2004; prior thereto Mr. Crone was the Vice-President, Operations and Chief Operating Officer of Cequel Energy Inc. from January 2002 to August 2003; prior thereto Mr. Crone was the Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer of Cypress Energy Inc. (“Cypress”), a public oil and gas company, from April 1996 to March 2001.

Brian Felesky

Mr. Felesky has been the Vice Chairman, Investment Banking of Credit Suisse Securities (Canada) Inc., an investment banking firm, since February 2011. Prior thereto, from July 2006 to February 2011, Mr. Felesky was Counsel to the law firm of Felesky Flynn LLP.  Prior thereto, from April 1978 to July 2006, Mr. Felesky was a Partner of Felesky Flynn LLP. Mr. Felesky serves as a director on the boards of Epcor Power LP, Precision Drilling Trust, Resin Systems Inc. and various private companies. Mr. Felesky is a Queen's Counsel and Member of the Order of Canada.

Daryl H. Gilbert, P. Eng.

Mr. Gilbert graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1973 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering. Mr. Gilbert is a professional Petroleum Engineer and is the former President and CEO of Gilbert Laustsen Jung Associates Ltd., now GLJ Petroleum Consultants Ltd., a major independent petroleum evaluation consulting firm based in Calgary. After a 26 year career at GLJ, he retired from the professional  consulting field in early 2005. Mr. Gilbert is currently a Managing Director of JOG Capital Inc., a private equity energy investment management firm. He also serves as  a director of several energy related public entities including Penn West Petroluem Ltd. and AltaGas Ltd. He is currently a memeber of the Association of Petroleum Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta, the Society of Petroluem Engineering and the Society of Petroleum Evaluation Engineers. 

James K. Gray

Mr. Gray has been engaged in oil and gas exploration for over 50 years. In 1973, he co-founded Canadian Hunter Exploration Ltd. and served in numerous positions including Executive Vice President, President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman until its sale to Burlington Resources in 2001. Mr. Gray is also a member of the board of directors of Atlanta Gold Inc., Brookfield Asset Management, Brookfield Renewable Power Inc., Phoenix Technology Income Fund, and Resin Systems Inc. Mr. Gray was also appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada and is currently also Director Emeritus of Canadian National Railway and most recently became a member of the Alberta Premier's Council for Economic Strategy.

Francesco Mele

Mr. Mele is a principal and senior member of KERN partners, assisting in origination and execution of new portfolio investments. Prior to joining KERN, Mr. Mele was a Managing Director of Global Investment Banking for a Canadian national bank dealer. Prior to investment banking, Mr. Mele practiced in the general area of corporate and commercial law, with emphasis in the areas of taxation and securities for a Canadian national law firm. He is also a member of the board of directors of All Points Energy Ltd. and is an observer on the Boards of Dolomite Energy and Milestone Exploration Inc.

Paul Wanklyn

Mr. Wanklyn has been President and Chief Executive Officer of Cequence since September 2010. Prior thereto Mr. Wanklyn served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Temple Energy Inc. from June 2004 to September 2010; prior thereto, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of various corporations, including Temple Exploration from May 2001 to July 2004; Boulder Energy International Inc., a private corporation founded by Mr. Wanklyn, in 1997; and Tidal Resources Inc. from February 1993 to January 1997.
